(UNDATED) – Fall is a great time to get out and explore your public lands and photograph the scenery, wildlife, and recreational activities.
The Hoosier National Forest covered more than 200,000 acres, spread across nine counties from Monroe Lake to the Ohio River in south-central Indiana.
There are limitless opportunities to capture great photographs. The fall photography contest is open until November 25. Photographs can be submitted to alexander.johnson@usda.gov or mailed to:

With your photo include the date the photo was taken, the location of the photo, your name, category of the photo, and whether you would like to be contacted via email or phone in case you are a prize winner.
Photos will be used to promote the forest.
