(BLOOMINGTON) – The Monroe County Public Library has moved to curbside services only in response to rising COVID-19 cases.
The library does not expect to reopen the building to the public until early to mid-2021, according to a press release.
The drive-up window is also closed. Patrons can continue to checkout materials by scheduling an appointment.
The library hours will remain unchanged.
One library employee did test positive for the virus on Nov. 24. The employee did not interact with the public. Library officials learned of the positive case after making the decision to move to curbside services.
