BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners signed a contract with Dossett Consulting on Monday.
“This helps reimburse the county for all expenses for child support, and I mean all expenses,” said Auditor Paula Stewart.
The county has been using the firm for 12 years.
The Hoosier-owned company provides Indiana counties with comprehensive financial service consulting, including Title IV-D Child Support reimbursement for clerks, courts, and prosecutors, federal grant reimbursement utilizing cost allocation plans, rate studies, bookkeeping reconciliation, and more.
“We will save money if we sign a three-year contract,” Stewart added.
The commissioners agreed, approved, and signed the contract.
