Teen transported to juvenile detention center after police find vodka in his bedroom

BEDFORD – A Bedford teen was arrested and transported to a juvenile detention center on Monday after Bedford Police officers responded to a request to help juvenile probation officers during a home visit in the 1000 block of 15th Street.

According to Bedford Police Captain Dakoda Emmons, police found alcoholic beverages in the 14-year-old male’s room. Police found Botecto Berry Vodka concealed behind an end table in the corner of the bedroom. 

The juvenile was detained and transported to Dickinson Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol. The teen was on probation due to a prior offense.
