BEDFORD – The Limestone Carving Exhibit takes place on Friday, June 28, from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 29th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., showcasing the talents of local carvers working in this unique medium. Held at the Downtown Milwaukee Depot on the corner of 14th and J Street, this free event is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of limestone carving and see stunning creations firsthand.

Admire a remarkable display of limestone carvings, each a testament to the skill and artistry of local sculptors. Witness the art of limestone carving come alive as talented artists demonstrate their techniques throughout the day. Learn about the carving process and gain a deeper appreciation for this enduring art form. Be a part of the selection process! Cast your vote for your favorite carving in the “People’s Choice” award and help determine this year’s crowd favorite piece. Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful, one-of-a-kind limestone birdbath – a perfect addition to your garden or patio. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
