Son of former Colts player missing for weeks found alive at Logansport home

LOGANSPORT — Bryson Muir, a 14-year-old boy missing from Logansport since June 16 and son of former Colts defensive tackle Daniel Muir, has been found safe.

Today at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Indiana State Police SWAT team executed search and arrest warrants, both issued by the Cass County Circuit Court, on Daniel and Kristin Muir’s residence at 1740 West US Highway 24, Logansport.

The operation led to the discovery of Daniel, Kristin, and Bryson Muir at the home. Bryson was the subject of a Silver Alert issued on June 28, 2024.

Daniel and Kristen Muir were taken into custody without incident and remanded to the Cass County Jail. Daniel Muir, 40, is facing charges of obstruction of justice and domestic battery. Kristen Muir, 38, is facing a charge of obstruction of justice.

Bryson Muir, who appeared safe and well, was released to the care and custody of the Cass County Department of Child Services.

The Indiana State Police received assistance from the Logansport Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
