(BLOOMINGTON) - After allegedly sending guns to Canada, federal authorities have charged a Bloomington man with being an illegal firearms dealer.
After a two-year investigation, five American police agencies and the York Regional police in Ontario charged 32-year old Jeffrey Roll with the accusation.
Roll is charged with exchanging firearms for illegal drugs with a Canadian contact he'd made on the internet. The alleged activity took place between October of 2002 and August of 2003.
Roll is officially charged with unlawful export and mailing of handguns, as well as making a false statement to a federal firearms dealer.
