(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Tony Siedl spoke to the Lawrence County Commissioners yesterday on the security of the Courthouse Plaza on the Bedford square.
In his words, Siedl said there is "no security" for the building. Some ideas to improve security included moving the one and only officer to the first floor, and close the back doors to the public. According to Siedl they are "very vulnerable."
The board agreed with Siedl to talk with the judges and make some decisions for improved security to the Courthouse Plaza.
