(BEDFORD) - If you drive by the Bedford City Hall you may notice some work being done on the front door.
A ramp with a new larger ledge is being built to better serve those with disabilities. The bigger area will allow those in wheelchairs to better be able to open the door. Work should be done on the new ramp sometime next week.
Cost for the project is nearly $14,000. Money to pay for the ramp is coming from the state from the Cumulative Capital Improvement Cigarette Tax Fund.
