(BEDFORD) - Officials from the Stone City Bank in Bedford are assuring customers that a potential internet fraud has not compromised any personnel or confidential information.
Apparently fraudulent emails have been sent throughout the area saying their bank account has been compromised and asking recipients to go to a web site to input their information there.
Like many other banks, the Stone City Bank does not ask for requests from customers via the internet. Anyone receiving such an email should contact local authorities and the bank.
