(BEDFORD) - For the past two years, Bedford detectives, along with the FBI, have been investigating a Bedford man on allegations of child pornography.
Thirty-three-year-old Charles Fulford, II, was arrested on Valentine's Day after a special agent pretended to be a 14-year-old boy on the internet. Fulford apparently started conversations on an internet chat room in 2005 then began e-mailing whom he thought was a young teenager.
A warrant for Fulford's arrest was issued after he sent a photo to the special agent. Police came to Fulford residence and found numerous photographs of recognizable children.
According to a Bedford detective, none of the pictures were of local youths. The FBI special agent was e-mailing Fulford from New Hampshire.
