(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Town Board discussed the situation with Charter Communications Cable TV Company.
Charter is increasing rates and many customers are upset with the service. Mitchell Mayor Butch Chastain says the city does not have a contract with Charter Communications. Charter says they do. City Attorney Byron Steele will ask the company for a copy of the contract.
The board discussed dropping the franchise and maybe going with Insight Communications. Another thought was for customers to sign up with Dish Network. A decision will be made at a later date.
