(BEDFORD) - The first in a series of Third House Sessions was held at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce Building Saturday.
About 30 people were in attendance to hear Representative Eric Koch, of Bedford talk about various subjects.
Koch mentioned brining broadband service to rural areas and BPL. Property tax was brought up. Koch suggested property owners would be hit with high bills for the legislatures didn't make change to the tax laws. Koch said if the state went to sales tax only the percentage would rise to 13%.
The next Third House Session will be held on Saturday, March 10th, at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce.
