Flood Warnings For Williams Later This Week

(BEDFORD) - Weather forecasters have alerted those who live along the East Fork White River near Bedford of possible flooding.

The river will rise to near flood stage with water levels near 20 feet. Water is expected over most local roads in the flood plain, but roads may be passable with high clearance vehicles. Agricultural lands will flood.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for the East Fork White River at Williams from Thursday evening until at least late Friday night.

With water levels near 8 feet, lowest agricultural lands will begin to flood. County Road 400 South near Williams will likely flood. Water is very close to State Road 450 near Williams.
