(BLOOMINGTON) - The man convicted of murdering an Indiana University student apparently wants a new attorney to appeal his conviction.
John Myers, II, reportedly told his mother that he believes he'll have a better chance with a public defender.
Myers was recently given a 65-year prison sentence for the 2000 murder of I.U. student Jill Behrman.
