(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police say a tailgating incident may have led to a Saturday afternoon shooting.
Authorities say a man driving a black pickup truck closely followed a green Buick and ignored the sedan's driver tapping his brakes to ask the truck's driver to stay further back.
The truck later pulled alongside the Buick and the drivers exchanged words while stopped for a red light. When the light changed, the man in the car fired at least one round from a semi-automatic handgun he'd shown the truck's driver.
The bullet hit the truck behind the driver's side door, but no one was hurt.
Police are following leads on several suspects.
