(MITCHELL) - Mitchell police are working on a case that involved an altercation between two women.
Mitchell Assistant Police Chief Troy Labosky says they received a 911 call and arguing and screaming could be heard between the two. The caller said she was bleeding from an altercation with a black female from French Lick.
A few minutes later, police received another call. This time a male caller told police the injured female was cut in the throat and was in the front yard holding her throat with a skirt. The man mentioned the black woman had left the scene. Dunn Memorial Hospital Ambulance EMS was called to take care of the wounded woman.
A third call to police reported bloody hand prints were found on the walls and doors of the apartment complex were the incident occurred. No one has been arrested in the altercation. Labosky says they are continuing to investigate the bizarre incident.
No names are being released at this time.
