(UNDATED) - Weather forecasters are keeping an eye out on a major winter storm that could bring freezing rain, sleet and heavy snow tonight and Tuesday.
A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect from 7:00PM tonight through Tuesday night. Authorities say the potential for freezing rain still exists for tonight into early Tuesday. The air temperature will determine whether areas will receive ice accumulations or not.
The track of the storm is uncertain and any shift will have a large impact on the amount and type of precipitation. A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations.
