(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University police had been looking for two men who allegedly sexual assaulted a woman on her way home last month.
The 19-year old had given police a description of two men who she says ushered her into a vehicle, sexual assaulted her twice and then dropped her back at the school's Teter Quadrangle.
After interviewing the woman for a second time police learned she had made up the story.
According to IUPD Captain Jerry Minger the woman recanted her story saying that she had a relation with one of the men at a local motel.
