(BLOOMINGTON) - Following complaints, a firm appointed to study how Monroe County spends its cash could soon get down to business.
Officials from BKD complained the county auditor's office was tardy in providing payroll records for review.
Auditor Sandy Newmann says she knew nothing of the complaint and has directed the payroll software provider to turn over all pertinent records to BKD for examination.
