(SHOALS) - A telephone call sent a Shoals man to jail.
Indiana State Police say 45-year-old Ronnie Roach tried to call his estranged wife, violating a protective order against him. Police went to Roach's home to arrest him on the invasion charge and while they were at the home they smelled the strong odor of burnt marijuana.
Roach refused a search of the home and a search warrant was issued. Police did find paraphernalia in the residence. Roach was arrested for the invasion of privacy at the Dubois County Security Center.
A charge of possession of paraphernalia is pending in Martin County.
