(SCOTTSBURG) - Indiana conservation officers were called to the Scottsburg square to try and subdue a whitetail deer running loose in the area.
The deer reportedly ran into a plate glass window. The deer then ran onto the courthouse lawn and was herded into a corner by officers.
Officials attempted to coax the deer into a large cage but the animal ran headlong into a nearby building. While dazed, the deer was captured and later taken and released at Hardy Lake.
