(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Faculty Council is endorsing a resolution that expresses support for Indiana University’s policy of providing health care benefits to same-sex partners.
The council says it decided to formally back the resolution because some faculty and workers worry that a proposed state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage could prohibit same sex couple benefits.
