(JASPER) - A criminal investigation began recently after a tip was made on drug activity in Jasper.
The information has led to the arrest of a Jasper man on several drug charges. The Jasper City Police along with the Indiana State Police went to the home of 46-year-old Charles McDaniels. A search dog found over a gram of cocaine in a dresser drawer and prescription pills were also found.
McDaniels was arrested for possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a public park, possession of a Schedule IV drug and maintaining a common nuisance.
