(JASONVILLE) - A Jasonville woman was arrested on charges of prescription fraud and police discovered that she had posed as a media assistant for a physician and as a registered nurse.
According to Indiana State Police, 43-year-old Michelle Passen was able to obtain 100 tablets of Vicodin from a CVS Pharmacy in Bloomfield in 2006. Passen was passing herself off as a physician's assistant.
Police say Passen also called a CVS Pharmacy in Linton and claimed she was a registered nurse. She attempted to get a prescription of Vicodin, but the pharmacist became suspicious and wouldn't fill the order.
Passen turned herself in at the Greene County Jail. She was later chargers and released on an $8,000 dollar bond.
