(ENGLISH) - An argument between two men near English ended up with shots being fired.
Indiana State Police say Lanny Jenkins went to the Charlie Cummins residence of Doolittle Mills in Crawford County where strong words were exchanged.
A fight ensued and Jenkins pulled out a shotgun. Cummins found a .380 handgun and began firing.
Jenkins was struck in the leg by the shotgun blast, Jenkins fired the handgun and struck Cummins in the right side of the face.
Jenkins was flown to a Louisville hospital; Cummins was taken to the Perry County Hospital. Cummins was treated and released.
Police are investigating several issues related to the case and will turn over the information to Prosecutor Bob Collins.
