(BEDFORD) - Construction on the Bedford Public Library may begin next week.
Library Director Susan Miller says a pre-construction meeting will be held today with Tri-County Builders to work out a plan to get the new air-conditioner in before the temperature gets to high. If all goes well construction will begin on Monday.
It is estimated it will take about 8 months to complete the project which including a new heating and air-conditioning unit, a new entrance to the library, a new drive-up book drop, a larger parking lot and better lighting for the parking area.
