(BLOOMINGTON) - A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy on routine traffic patrol put a stop to a burglary at his own home in Bloomington.
Deputy Ted Baugh arrested 27-year-old Robert Bland when the deputy saw Bland walk out of Baugh's house. Bland told the deputy he was driving by and needed to use the bathroom.
The deputy then asked why the back of Bland's pick-up truck was full of Baugh's stuff.
Bland was booked into the Monroe County jail of charges of burglary and criminal trespass.
