(BEDFORD) - In just nine days voters in Bedford and Mitchell will be heading to the polls to vote for their favorite candidates.
Lawrence County Clerk Julie Blackwell Chase Brinegar says however if a voter cannot make it to the polls on May 8th they will have a chance today through Saturday to vote absentee at the Voter Registration Office in the Lawrence County Courthouse.
She says the office will be open from 8:30AM to 4:30PM each day this week with time out for lunch at 11:30AM to 12:30PM.
On Saturday the office will be open from 8:30AM to 3:30PM and on Monday, May 7th from 8:30AM to 12:00 Noon.
