(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County History Festival will once again be held at Murray Park just off 5th Street in Bedford.
The two-day event will be held starting Saturday at 9:45AM and 12 Noon on Sunday.
Some of the events include a Parade of Heroes and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. An 1860's vintage baseball game will be held as well as Civil War battles and dancing and McKnight's Rangers Wild West Hold-Up. There will be music, food and vendors at the festival.
An oral history with special speakers USS Indianapolis survivor Jim O'Donnell and Iranian hostage Don Sharer will be held at the Stalker School Gym starting at 10:00AM on Saturday.
