(PAOLI) - A Marengo man was arrested Monday after he allegedly took off with electronic equipment from the Paoli Wal-Mart Super Center.
Employees spotted 19-year-old Justin Van Winkle leave the store with an AM/FM Stereo/CD/MP3 Player and an Amplifier wiring kit worth about $180 dollars. He was seen running across the parking lot and into a nearby restaurant.
Van Winkle confessed to police that he had hidden the merchandise in nearby bushes. He was then taken to the Orange County jail and charged with theft, a Class D felony.
