(WEST BADEN) - For the first time in 75 years the West Baden Springs Hotel will begin accepting reservations for what was dubbed the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
After the $32-million restoration project, another wonder of the world will be headlining a black-tie ball. Rocker John Mellencamp, along with his wife Elaine, will chair the Historic Landmarks Foundation celebration to honor Bill and Gayle Cook who spearheaded the massive project.
The ball will be held on June 23rd with catered food, dancing under the dome, along with many surprises. Admission to the event is $250 per person or $2,000 for a table of eight.
A special bonus will be for those who sign on as patrons. For $300 or $2400 a table, they will have the first opportunity to reserve overnight accommodations at the West Baden Hotel.
For more information, contact Historic Landmarks at 1-800-450-4534.
