(BEDFORD) - A very popular annual event in Bedford will again be held this Saturday.
The Bedford Lions Club Pancake Festival will be held at the Thornton Park pavilion on Saturday morning from 6:00AM until noon. Tickets are $4.00 for those 13 and over and $3.00 for children 12 and under. They are available from any club member or can be purchased at the pavilion during the event.
The menu is a tasty mix of sausage, coffee or milk and of course, so says Chairman Billy Don Baker, "All the pancakes you can eat!" Carry-out is available in a drive-through lane. Proceeds will be used for several community endeavors, including insect control, building of ramps for the handicapped and sight conservation. The Bedford Lions Club Pancake Festival has been held since 1951.
