(BEDFORD) - The second in a series of four Brain Games contests was held at the Bedford Downtown Convention Center Thursday night.
Sixteen teams played eight games to advance to Monday night's competition.
In one game, it took a sudden death playoff to get a winner between the Tri-County Builders Earth Movers and the Day and Carter Funeral Home Shockers.
The winners of Thursday's competition and the winners of last Tuesday's playoffs will compete Monday night with the championship game to be held on next Tuesday night.
The Brains Games is a benefit for the Lawrence County History Museum and their outreach programs and the E.L. Hutton Research Library.
