(BEDFORD) - Motorists on 16th Street in Bedford are watching a new Burger King being built at the same location the old Burger King used to sit.
Bedford Planning and Zoning Director Myra Wilson says the new restaurant will be more drive-thru intensive.
Wilson says the Beech Street entrance into the shopping center will be closed and an exit from the restaurant will be built onto the street.
There will be tables inside the restaurant, but it will be a bit smaller than the original store.
Officials with Burger King say the new restaurant should be completed by the end of June or the first of July.
