(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Treasurer Debbie Thompson says tax forms for property owners are being printing now that the tax rate has been set.
Thompson says with the new trending formula a majority of the bills have gone up. However, some bills will see a decrease.
With the homestead tax credit some homes actually received a deduction this year. She hopes to have all the printing done by the end of the week.
Thompson says the first installment will be due on June 22nd with the second payment due on November 13th.
Lawrence County Assessor April Collins says it cost the county nearly $64,000 to have the reappraisals done by Kirk Reller of Reller Southern Indiana Appraising in Huntingburg.
