(MITCHELL) - Mitchell residents are getting mailings about taking legal action against a company in the town.
An official looking legal notice is asking those who may have had damage to their homes or property from Lehigh Cement Company to contact this particular law firm for legal action. Most residents are realizing this is an advertising ploy and are ignoring the mailing.
The Mitchell City Board is planning to write a resolution to praise the company that has been part of the community for over 100 years. The resolution will be given to Lawrence County Economic Council President Gene McCracken who will hand deliver the declaration to officials at the international headquarters in Germany next week.
