Brain Games Crowns A Winner

Last updated on Wednesday, May 16, 2007

(BEDFORD) - The final games of the Brain Games were held Tuesday night at the Bedford Downtown Convention Center.

This year's winner is the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home team called the Ann-Margarets. Team Captain Connie Bailey explains the name that the name Ann-Margaret comes from a TV episode of Wings. One of the characters was playing a game and always answered with "Ann-Margaret!" The team received a traveling trophy, medals and $300.

Second runner-up was the Bedford Little Theater team Exit Stage Left. They won medals and $200. The Brain Games is a fund raiser for the Lawrence County History Museum and their outreach programs and the E.L. Hutton Research Library.
