(BEDFORD) - Students at Bedford’s Parkview Primary and Intermediate schools continue to be under a lock down.
School officials decided to keep the doors locked after an incident with one of their school employees. Gulab Parab, of Bloomington, a male acquaintance of a female school worker, apparently threatened her with a knife.
Bedford and Bloomington police became involved and arrested Parab on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon. He, however, bonded out of the jail.
Because of the situation, some parents have decided to take their children out of school early.
The lock down will continue at Parkview Primary and Intermediate schools until the final day of school next Wednesday.
