(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man has been arrested after he called police saying that he just killed his girlfriend.
Lawrence County Police report that John Reynolds called from a home in The Woods residential addition north of Bedford on Sunday afternoon. Reynolds told police that he just killed Sue Magner at the residence.
Police say Reynolds talked to them in a calm manner. During the conversation Reynolds stated there was blood all over the residence and that two shotguns were in the home.
Reynolds said he would wait for police to come pick him up and that he probably needed a lawyer, too.
Reynolds was taken by police and incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail.
