(BEDFORD) - A Bedford teen was released to his mother following an altercation at the Bedford Wal-Mart.
Public Information Officer Bedford Police Major Dennis Parsley says they received several 911 calls reporting a fight between two teens in the parking lot of the business.
When police arrived on the scene an Indiana Conservation officer was there attempting to break up the brawl.
The first teen took off in his vehicle and headed toward Mitchell. Meanwhile, the battered youth was treated for his bumps and cuts to his hand.
Police caught up with the runaway teen in Mitchell and took him back to Bedford, charging him with juvenile delinquent battery.
The teen was later released to his mother with a promise to appear in court at a later date.
