(BEDFORD) - Bedford Urban Enterprise Association Director Jamie Harris, along with the executive board, discussed ways to keep the organization solvent during the latter half of 2007.
Last night Harris said that the city should make the decision to keep the group going. He notes that the group has about $1.2-million in grants money available for them for the next year.
A suggestion was made to educate the new mayoral candidates on what the Bedford Urban Enterprise Association has done for Bedford in the last 12 years.
Meanwhile, a line of credit was increased an additional $25,000 at Bedford Federal Savings Bank to help the business.
