(BEDFORD) - Normally, the Bedford Police Department holds a civilian firearms program twice a year. But through the years more and more people have become aware of the course.

On Friday and Saturday, June 22nd and 23rd, a Level I Firearms Training Program will be held. The program is designed for the novice or beginner gun owner.
The Friday class will run from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. On Saturday, the hours will be from 8:00AM to 4:00PM with a trip to the Lawrence County Firing Range to fire your weapon.
Class size will be limited to 30 people. Cost is $50 dollars.
