Changes Made To Mitchell's Cable Franchise

(MITCHELL) - The city of Mitchell continues to deal with the TV cable franchise Charter Communications.

City officials received a letter stating that Charter now deals with the state and not the city.

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission is now responsible for any changes Charter makes to Mitchell.

Meanwhile, another rate change has been received from Charter stating new equipment rates.

The rate charges to customers have actually dropped. In some instances the rates have dropped by as much as 20%.
