(BEDFORD) - Milan High School standout Bobby Plump will be in Bedford Saturday night to speak following a fund raising dinner at the Bedford Downtown Convention Center.
Plump was instrumental in help winning the 1954 high school state championship against powerhouse Muncie Central.
According to Lawrence County Historical and Genealogical Society Director Marla Jones, Plump will be part of the festivities sponsored by the Museum and the Lawrence County Community Foundation.
John Williams, Al Walker, Myron Rainey and Ray Robinson will also speak about their favorite sports memories.
Tickets for the event can be purchased at the museum on the Bedford square or by calling 278-8575.
