(MARTINSVILLE) - Morgan County is considering pulling out of a regional recycling coalition.
Morgan would be the second county to quit what began as a five-county solid-waste district.
The county pays 42-percent of the district's budget, based on its population -- Montgomery, Parke and Putnam counties pick up the rest.
Morgan County Commissioner Brian Goss says Hendricks County was able to run its own recycling program for less, and the commissioners are investigating whether Morgan County could too.
