(BEDFORD) - Bedford will have two new businesses start up thanks to the Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals.
Shannon Woods is planning to begin a day care service for those who work 2nd shift. Woods is renovating an existing residence at 1608 - 9th Street and constructing a privacy fence around the property.
Woods says neighbors are OK with the proposed business. Reynolds is looking at calling the facility LaLa's Day Care.
Meanwhile, Gwenna Polley and Terri Mahoney are beginning a new dog boarding facility at 1801 -33nd Street. They say they are converting a garage into 6-by-6 kennels.
Polley and Mahoney are looking at building what they call suites for pets. Their new business will be called the Doggie Ranch and say they will take care of pets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
