(LITTLE YORK) - A young boy was injured Sunday when he was struck by an All-Terrain Vehicle.
Indiana Conservation officers and the Washington County Sheriff's Department were called to the accident just north of Little York.
Police say 76-year-old Clifford Webster, of Salem, was cresting a hill when the vehicle struck a 10-year-old boy. The boy was on a dirt-bike when the accident occurred. It is believed the boy turned into the path of Webster's ATV. He was thrown from his dirt-bike. The dirt-bike was dragged 81 feet before stopping.
The boy was taken to Scott County Memorial Hospital for treatment of injures to his left leg. Officials continue to investigate the mishap.
