(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Town Board was informed that a lawsuit against the city was won after four years of litigation.
Maryland Barlow was warned several times in the last four years to clean up her property or face fines. Barlow sued the city and her case was eventually heard in the Indiana Supreme Court.
Last week, the city of Mitchell was told that they were in the right. Now the city is preparing to collect nearly $40,000 in fines from Mrs. Barlow.
