(UNDATED) - A proposal has been released by the Federal Department of Transportation allowing Martin, Daviess, Dubois, Pike and Knox counties to change from the Central Time Zone to the Eastern Time Zone.
According to the document, the action was taken at the request of the boards of commissioners of each county.
The DOT will receive public comments before making a final determination.
If the request is approved, the change would take place on November 4th, the same day clocks are changed for the rest of nation.
